Our 5th year anniversary at SmartCARE Education is coming up this Fall, and it’s all thanks to supporters like you! Over the last 5 years, we’ve taught 333 chiropractors and physical therapists how to assess, interpret, and treat patients with dry needling from a performance-based approach. If you’d told me we’d have over 300 CDNP professionals throughout the US, Canada and Australia…. I would’ve never believed it.
What started as just a simple seminar to help students master Dry Needling turned into a complete education and mentoring company. To this day I still receive text messages and e-mails from colleagues and professionals seeking a second opinion in cases and sometimes in their practice.
It’s an honor to be able to provide you and others with the support you need to continue leveling up in practice.
As we navigate the third quarter and move into the final quarter of 2026, I want to get your feedback. Fill out this survey, and enter to win a $150.00 Amazon gift card.

Gluteal Tendinopathy vs Piriformis Syndrome
Managing the Patient Who Has Been Failed Before
P arrived skeptical after four months of ineffective care. That skepticism creates a pressure: the temptation to oversell, to be the provider who finally has the answer.
Resist it. Tendinopathy is slow. Telling a patient who has already waited four months that you will fix her in three weeks is a lie that buys short-term buy-in and destroys trust at week three when she is only partly better. Offer instead a clear explanation of why the previous approaches failed, a mechanism that makes sense of her two pains, and milestones she can measure herself. Under-promise. Twelve weeks is realistic. Then let the progress persuade her. Continue reading…

Practice Tips
Act, don’t react.
Manage your time like a patient: If it’s not in your calendar you probably won’t do it. Last year I had 33 docs reach out for last minute CE’s. This year, they are getting ahead and spending more time in their practice or with their family. If you haven’t completed any CE’s, then the TCC Membership is for you. Now you can access past issues and complete them for credit!
What doesn’t get tracked does not grow: If you are familiar with working out, then you know that the best way to grow is to keep track of what you are doing, and what’s working. So then why aren’t you tracking all your outputs in business??
Measure progress by leverage. Not by how many hours you are working. If you have to work more to make more, your leverage is not as good as you think it is. I’ll be talking about leverage in our next TCC Mastermind. If you are a member, you’ll get immediate access to it.

That’s it for this week.
Keep showing up, we’ll keep cheering you on — and as always, level up! 🏃♂️
